Cleaning up messes, implementing technology, streamlining operations, and so much more, Colleen is gets new Breakwater clients off on the right foot before being turned over to their ongoing team!
Can you quickly describe yourself?
I’ve been with Breakwater since 2018 and served in a number of roles from Account Specialist to Training Manager and most recently leading our new client onboarding team. I’m inquisitive by nature and love figuring out puzzles, which comes in very handy while offering solutions to our new clients in our onboarding team.
What is your favorite part of working at Breakwater?
My favorite part about Breakwater is our team. The bench of knowledge that our team possesses is amazing and I have full confidence if there is an area that is new to me, or anyone on our team, that someone on our team has expertise and advice to share. I always enjoy our collaborative interactions with the team. On a personal and professional level, we look out for each other and help each other grow.
What is a Breakwater memory that will always make you smile?
My favorite memory is our first all staff retreat after the pandemic. During that time, our team grew from being a very local team to including others from across the country and I served as the Training Manager for new staff during that time, so I got to bond personally with many of them. It was amazing to meet them in person, get to know them more and see who was taller than me (which is pretty much everyone!).
